UKI

UKI is a mesmerising fusion of mechanical ingenuity and organic inspiration, drawing from the tenacity of life in the harsh Australian outback.

Responding to her surroundings, UKI pulsates with rhythmic movements and interactive engagement, adorned with LED arrays that highlight the elegance of her design. Audiences worldwide have been captivated by her appearances at prestigious arts festivals, showcasing her dynamic presence and innovative use of sound and light.

Constructed upon a modified chassis of a short wheelbase 4WD, converted to electric power, UKI stands tall with wings reaching over 4.5m high and a huge wingspan. Built predominantly from repurposed parts, she serves as a testament to resourcefulness and inventive design, capable of roaming or standing as a standalone kinetic sculpture. Precision-engineered mechanisms allow UKI to move with fluidity, driven by electric actuators and custom controllers for accuracy and function.
